眨眼睛、擤鼻涕應該是最常見的、那合併的大塊肌肉的抽動的時候就比較容易被發現；如果有大叫甚至發出怪聲音這樣的聲音痙攣的、不被接納的比例就更高了！所以從剛開始發生症狀的時候得到好的治療非常的重要。也比較能夠避免影響人際關係、學業功課、注意力以及人格發展。
